Author Visits with Danielle Davis and To Make
All school and library visits can be done virtually!
School Visits are Cool
One of my favorite things is helping kids tap into their unique voices and imaginations while inspiring them to read and create! My interactive presentations and workshops can be facilitated in-person or online.
Author visits leave a lasting impression as they inspire kids to read, write, create—and keep making!
I've presented in a variety of venues in the past including schools, libraries, 826Boston, arts and makerspaces, the LA Times Festival of Books, SoCal Nerdcamp, and more.
You'll find the info in one place in my author visit PDF. All my offerings can be tailored to fit the grade level and needs of your students.
Students will explore the story and writing of To Make as well as any creative process followed by participating in some neat making together–whether a story or a creative-identity affirming maker ribbon or creativitree. They’ll get to know the steps from the book to make anything: gather, make, wait—which can be applied to every endeavor in the classroom and beyond!

And I also offer professional development workshops for educators! Check out my PD info.
